Plumb Connect is an open-source platform designed to make it easier for plumbers and customers to connect directly, communicate transparently, agree on service pricing, and complete plumbing jobs efficiently. The platform allows plumbers and customers to communicate directly with each other, discuss the job requirements, and mutually decide the price and terms of the service. Once the job has been successfully completed, both parties are encouraged to follow the principle that honesty is the best policy by optionally contributing a $30 platform support fee. This $30 contribution is completely optional and is not required to complete a job or use the platform. Users can complete their plumbing job without paying the $30 fee; however, those who choose to contribute can make the payment through the direct bank payment link provided by Plumb Connect after the job has been fully completed. This optional contribution helps support the platform’s hosting, development, maintenance, technology, and the dedicated team working to provide better facilities and services for both plumbers and customers. By supporting Plumb Connect, users help the platform continue improving its open-source plumbing service marketplace, direct communication features, and overall accessibility. The platform’s administrative rights and management currently remain with the authorized admin team, while the $30 contribution remains entirely optional for both plumbers and customers. Plumb Connect is committed to creating a simple, transparent, and efficient way for plumbers and customers to find each other, communicate directly, agree on fair pricing, and successfully complete plumbing jobs.
